We just returned home from the doctor's apt at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis. Hannah was great and sat for over an hour while we asked the doctor questions and discussed treatment options.

First off I have to say thank you for the prayers. We got an amazing doctor who was patient, kind, and relaxed. He answered every question we had and then some. John and I feel totally confident that when the time comes to choose which surgery to do that we can trust this man to lead us in making the best choice for Hannah.

He does not feel like this is life threatening so we have some time to take in making this decision. There are a couple of non-evasive test he wants to do that will help him decide the best course to take. He also wants us to go ahead and do the surgery for her bladder and bowels first because if she needs the shunt that needs to be completed so as not to introduce infection into the shunt.

Hannah absolutely captivated him and you could just tell he knew she was something special. He was so impressed at how well she is adjusting and how much English she understands even though she can't speak. She is truly our little miracle.

I am mentally exhausted tonight but completely at peace knowing that once again God as always was in total control of the situation.

I will keep you all updated as we know more and once again thank you for the prayers!
