Received our HS in the mail today...YEA!!!!!  Tomorrow I will be sending our I600A form to the USCIS!  I feel like we have moved to a new chapter in our book.  This chapter takes us a little bit closer to our girls!!!

I have spent the last couple of days printing and filling in millions of documents, and no, I am not exaggerating.  I didn't even know that much information about us.  I now know how much my husband makes yearly, to the penny, how much he's made over the last 6 months, and after taxes.  I may go shopping more. :)  I know exactly how many Sq ft my house is under air and total.  I know the exact acreage, market value, when it was built, and I don't even own this one...LOL!  Every time I was ready to quit I just looked at the picture of those beautiful girls and I knew it was all worth while!

My thanks to everyone that is praying for our babies and please keep it up.  John and I prayed as we put our HS, I600A form, and money in the envelope to mail in the morning.  I know every other family that is trying to adopt is praying the exact same thing.  So my prayer tonight is that God will put the pile of documents that go to the USCIS in the exact order according to his will!!  I also pray that he surrounds all of those children that are waiting, and somehow in their little spirit lets them know that someone is coming to get them.  That, that someone, is staying up late every night, filling out endless paper work, and laying in bed sleepless thinking and dreaming about the day they will be there to bring them home.

    1. Your family page on Reece's Rainbow does not show up on the regular "Home Study in Progress" page but on a separate "on hold" page. You might want to ask RR to fix this so that you get more traffic to your family page and more donations.

  3. Just wanted to say congrats on your beautiful children!!! I was ecstatic when I saw Lorie on MFFM! Thank God someone is going to rescue this sweet girl. I've been praying for her for a long time, and will keep your family in my prayers! Can't wait to see your story unfold! :)
