We had our Home Study Visit yesterday and were approved for three children...Sooooooo relieved! Hopefully we will have everything completed by the end of next week and can send our I600A form off.  I will be so glad when this is all over and our children are home with us safe and sound.

I will be creating a timeline with dates and cost of different documents etc...just as soon as I learn how...LOL!  I am new to blogging so it takes me a little while to figure it all out.

I just want to say how grateful I am to all of my friends and family that are being so supportive about what we are doing.  I love the fact that we have a whole army of prayer warriors behind us during this process!  Love you all!!!

    1. So nice to meet you and thank you for helping these sweet babies. We are also planning on adopting Lorie as well. I have a feeling I'm going to a very busy lady soon...LOL! They are suppose to be setting us up on the RR site so people can donate soon.

I am still trying to figure this blog stuff out. :) I hope to have it all set up the right way soon. I'll check yours out and we will defiantly keep in touch.

    2. Evelyn, would you mind letting us know if Lorie will be able to stay out of the institution pending your adoption? I know that they often prevent transfers of kids who are being adopted and keep them in the babyhouses until the adoption is complete. I am hoping this will be possible for Lorie as well...There have been so many of us rooting for Lorie, hoping for her continued safety and quick adoption.

    3. I believe she has already been transferred but we are doing everything we can to expedite this process. I can't sleep sometimes thinking of her there and knowing I am helpless to do anything. Just please pray that God does a miracle and we find favor each step of the way with no delays!

    4. I pray she hasn't been transferred. When we spoke with the director she said she keeps her special needs kids until age 6 so I assumed she would still be there until may. Praying

  2. Hi there! You are an answer to prayer. I have met Lorie while there adopting two children. Lorie is so so sweet. It broke our hearts to leave her in that room. She was in the same room Ivanna was in. Please feel free to contact me. browning.onehappyfamily@gmail.com

  3. Can't wait to follow your journey! We too met Lorie this past summer while we were adopting Dariya via RR! I will have to look through my pictures b/c I tried to get some of her the one day we saw her outside (in 4 weeks of being there everyday)!

    1. Rochelle,

I wrote you back but am not sure if you received it. I would love any info and pictures that you might have on Lorie. I have communicated with the Browning family and it is so nice to find out anything on her. Thank you!
